China building materials Flooring Association was approved by Ministry of Civil Affairs of the People’s Republic of China on September 3,2007. It was officially established on December 7,2007, which was one of the 16 chapters of China Building Materials Federation (the former State Bureau of Building Materials). It is a non-profit organization that aimed to improve the overall level of the industry and promote the rapid and healthy development of the industry. As a floor-focused industry organization approved by the Ministry of Civil Affairs, it has a leading position in guiding, managing, coordinating, serving and supporting enterprises, and has a great appeal in the entire industry.
China Bulk CementAssociation Of Popularization & Development was approved by the Ministry of Civil Affairs in November 1994. It is the only national industry organization with independent corporate legal personality in the bulk cement industry. The association accepts the supervision and guidance of the Ministry of Civil Affairs, the Ministry of Commerce, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and other departments. The Party committee of SASAC is the leading organ of Party building of the association. The association has “China Construction Daily • Bulk Cement”, “Bulk Cement” magazine,“www.chinabca.com” and WeChat official account called CBCA. In February 2010, it was named the 3A level national social organizations by the Ministry of Civil Affairs Association. The association has been rated as an excellent social organization by the former Ministry of Trade and other relevant ministries and commissions and praised by the competent business units for many times. With the further transformation of the functions of the national government and the development of the green bulk cement industry, the association will play an increasingly important role under the guidance of relevant national policies.
Shanghai Concrete Industry Association (SCIA), was established in 1987 . The association is composed voluntarily by enterprises and public institutions (including private, joint-stock, joint venture, sole proprietorship and other economic organizations) engaged in the design, production, construction, research and education of concrete industry and related equipment and products in Shanghai area. It is a cross-departmental and cross-ownership non-profit industrial social organization legal person that provides industry services and self-disciplined management. Its business scope includes: industry research, integrity assessment, qualification review, quality appraisal, editing and publishing, technical services, training, exhibition investment, product promotion, intermediary consulting services, domestic and foreign information technology exchanges, etc. The association participates in the formulation of relevant technical standards and norms, organizes technical exchanges and cooperation at home and abroad, regularly publishes the journal “Shanghai Concrete”, and establishes the website of Shanghai Concrete Industry Association to provide information services to its members. The association also established a professional committee for concrete admixtures. In Shanghai, the association has extensive, representative and authoritative in the concrete industry.
The Shanghai Construction & Development Association was established in September 1993. The members of the association involve construction units, design units, general contracting units, management consulting units, financial services and other enterprises and institutions. At the same time, the association actively cooperated with Shanghai Housing and Urban-Rural Construction Management Committee to carry out the work of “popularizing modern enterprise management system”, “deepening the institutional reform of enterprises and public institutions”, “promoting the work of shareholding system”, “internal financial audit” and so on. The association has contributed to the reform and development of housing construction.
Shanghai Construction Trade Association (SCTA ) was founded on December 26,1985, formerly known as the Shanghai Construction Industry Association. The association is a cross-departmental and cross-ownership non-profit industrial social organization legal person voluntarily formed by enterprises and institutions in the city’s construction industry.
Entrusted by the Municipal Construction Committee, the Association is responsible for organizing various business trainings for the city’s housing construction companies’ project managers and engineers, and is responsible for organizing the Shanghai Construction Project called “White Magnolia Quality Project Award Competition”and“Shanghai Excellent Project Managers”. With the support of the municipal construction management office, the association organized the ranking of comprehensive strength of construction enterprises in Shanghai. According to the needs of members, the association regularly organizes contact activities between the association and its members, including various special lectures and experience exchange activities, as well as investigation activities at home and abroad. The association regularly publishes “Shanghai construction industry information”, “Shanghai construction industry information” and provides free industry information for its members.
The Shanghai Engineering Construction Quality Management Association was established in 1984 with the approval of the Shanghai Municipal People’s Government . It is the first professional association engaged in quality management in the city’s construction system. Over the years, the association has played an important role in the main axis of engineering quality. The association is committed to creating a quality chain to manage the whole life cycle of engineering construction, including the quality management of in-depth design in the early stage, the construction quality management in the construction stage and the service quality management after the operation and maintenance. At the same time, as a platform between the government, enterprises and society, the association actively carries out work and takes more social responsibilities. It is a community organization with greater social influence in the city’s construction system.
AIA ( American Institute of Architects) is a professional Institute of Architects in the United States. The association’s headquarters are in Washington, D.C. AIA provides information on education, government advocacy, community renewal, public outreach, architecture, and public image promotion. It also cooperates with other design and construction teams to promote the development of the construction industry.
The China Epoxy Resin Association was established in Jiaxing, Zhejiang Province in the mid-1980s with the approval of the Planning Bureau of the Refinery and Chemical Department of the former Ministry of Chemical Industry. For more than 20 years, the association has played an important role in the development, production, management and use of epoxy resin in China. It plays a very positive role in the development of epoxy resin industry in China. At the same time, it also promotes the development of defense industry, electronic electrician, municipal engineering, anticorrosive coating and other industries.
